Blue Microphones Yeti Unboxing

Been so busy with the General Elections (and cursing and swearing) lately that I have totally no time to unbox my Yeti USB microphone, which was delivered Friday.

The thing is MASSIVE, and saying that it’s heavy is an understatement. I have no freaking idea why a mic needs to be this heavy but I love the look already. Might do a short review if I’m in the mood to after playing with it.

P.S. This is a test sound file I recorded with the Yeti. Click here to download

Hope your planning on doing a lot of talking… that is one BIG mic. And on another topic, nice to see it’s bonus time at EPI Centre in ION. Mac Mini’s are on special.. Special increased price that is, from the Mac store. Price on display at $1,088 and $1,588 which should be $988 and $1,388.. i suppose it will pay for the Xmas party this year.. C’mon guys.. !!! get real. Apple just got my online order for 3 of them..

Yup… hope to do so.

Not so sure about the epicenter price issue, as I don’t go there much. But it’s well-known within the local mac reseller industry that epi never play by Apple’s rules and is always doing sneaky things behind Apple’s backs. Too bad not many Apple SG people will actually bother to check and listen to other resellers’ complaints.
