Reporting live from the NUS laptop sales at NUS Multi-Purpose Sports Hall 1, the Mac booth has attracted, among the many Mac faithful and new switchers, the sales personnel from other booths, with some of them essentially pledging their interest to purchase a brand new Mac with, ironically, possibly their paycheck earn from the sales of Acer, Fujitsu and Toshiba laptops.

Cult of Mac has an interview with Satoshi Nakajima, the lead architect for Windows 95, who had converted to being a Mac user since two years’ ago vowing never to use a PC again.
Nakajima is also the President of Big Canvas, a company dedicated to developing for Apple’s iPhone platform.

David Alison has a nice post about his experience switching over to the Mac. Not to encourage any mass conversion here, but at least you have an additional resource to refer to when you are trying to convince your friends and family that Mac converts are not only made up of elites, geniuses, rock stars, famous movie directors and composers.
Thought of the day: If a Mac switcher starts hurling abuse or constantly complaining why can’t Mac OS X is lousy or stupid because it does not do things like how Windows does, then it’s time to flame the fellow.
Take this thread for a good example.
Just because we don’t clean a floor of dust by sweeping it over and over again with a half-broken broom, does not mean that our way of using a vacuum cleaner is lousier or stupid.
