Ubuntu developers really just want to use Leopard

Look at this page.

The new interface that’s shown there is extremely similar to the Leopard look in OS X. And if you need further proof, just look at the alternative wallpapers to the default Ubuntu one. “Grass”? “OS Ten”? These guys got a serious envy problem.

it is just an admiration of art. visual appearance has nothing to do with technical nor philosophical choice of software. i hope you do know much of OS X has been taken from open source, including the shell. so in the end, it’s just what looks good.
