Cult of Mac reports that metadata on the creative copy of the photos appearing on Microsoft’s “I’m a PC” website reveals that they were made on Macs running CS3. When exposed, Microsoft scrambled to destroy the metadata overnight.

Here’s the picture proof.

What can I say? Seems that Microsoft’s own ads aren’t convincing enough for their ad agencies to be using Vista/XP.

Mojave: Microsoft to all Windows users “Haha you are all freaking idiots!”

Old news, but interesting nonetheless.

Microsoft Watch(a M$ fanboi site essentially)’s Joe Wilcox comes up with five reasons why the “Mojave Experiment” by Microsoft’s attempt to revive Vista’s image failed terribly.

In his own words;

“1. Microsoft treats its customers like they’re stupid.
2. Microsoft embarrasses Mojave participates.
3. The marketing campaign blames customers for Vista’s problems.
4. Microsoft denies there is a real problem.
5. Mojave seethes with arrogance. (Microsoft:’If we trick people, they will see just how stupid they are.’)”

There you have it, another perfect example of classic Microsoft at its works. They treat all users as idiots to exploit and exploit and exploit and exploit for money.

Here’s another article by Computerworld stating the failure of the Mojave Experiment.“Another sign that Microsoft doesn’t get it”.

And you know what? Microsoft don’t care. So long they have their long term service contracts with businesses, they are going to stay super profitable always. “You don’t like your OS? You can go suck it!”, says Microsoft.

Adobe should burn in hell

Photoshop sucks. Adobe sucks. Everyone gets a kick out of pirating Adobe software, just like how everyone does with each pirated copy of Microsoft software.

No 64-bit Photoshop for Mac till CS5? You know what, Adobe? You can keep your CS5 for yourself and your Microsoft bitches.

Photoshop will become irrelevant in 2 years. Die. Photoshop. Die Adobe. Die Lightroom. Die.

Bungie, Microsoft, Halo – Yeah right

So Bungie left Microsoft (sort of). Finally. What’s on the radar for them next then?

One wonders if Apple will be benefiting from this split. After all, it’s not so long ago that we were watching Bungie talking to us about the great new Mac game Halo on the Mac platform during one of Steve’s keynote, and then all of a sudden they were bought up by Microsoft, and that’s it. Pro-Apple people resigned and left after a while, and Bungie was never the same again. Halo became a hit series, as we all know, but that was about it. Bungie was just living off the earnings of a great hit made many years ago by people who left the company, with little or no new ideas. Now that they are independent again, one wonders if they will be able to churn out anything other than more Halo spinoffs.

And I wonder if they’ll ever be a major Mac game developer again.

Heck. I don’t even like Halo.

Vista’s Problems…… Offer your comments

After using Vista for about a month, I have a ton of complaints about it. I can even forgive it for the new-OS-lacking-compatibility excuses that Microsoft can give, but this is crap. Functionality-wise, it is worse than Windows ME. While I will blog about my personal experience in a future post, I invite all of you to post your comments or complaints about Vista in this thread.
